It has the highest power-to-weight ratio of any road-legal car. Its maker is using it as an advertisement for its composites expertise, in the hope of gaining bigger OEM contracts. This prototype, carrying overweight test parts, is under 1400 pounds. Zero-to-60 in 2.5 seconds, zero-to-100 in five. The aero package supplies enough downforce for 2.5g high-speed cornering. Pretty crazy machine! ...too bad it'll beat your head off simultaneaously. lol

Road legal where? In all US states? Some countries in Europe? It sure as hell won't be allowed in Canada.

at the moment legal only in Britain - the U.S. distributor, Chad Mann of Mann Motorsports in Atlanta, says it'll be track-only) is just so owners can boast they own the fastest thing with license plates.

There is a great article on the Caparo in Car magazine right now...with awesome photographs of it as well. There is an article in EVO as well, but the photos in Car are much better. I highly reccommend checking it out:)

It's an amazing car, thanks for posting!
