Since my bleeder screw blew out (see other thread), I'm going to go ahead and post my pictures. NOTE: I STILL NEED TO GET A CLOSE UP OF 1) DRIVERS SIDE SEAT - BETTER BOLSTER SHOT, 2) CENTER CONSOLE, 3) FRONT BONNET/SPARE TIRE. I was planning on going out this weekend and getting those pictures, but since its not drivable now, I'll post the pictures as is. 1984 308 GTSi QV Red/Tan 34450 Miles +/- 3rd owner (Previous owner owned for 16 years) Original Seats and interior Believed to be original paint (although I might be seeing some signs of a minor repaint, cant tell yet). It was overcast (off and on) on the day I was taking pictures, so the colors may be a bit off. I just bought the car about a month ago, and to me, the wheels do look a bit darker. They appear to be original painted wheels, no dents/dings/curb marks at all. But they look darker to me that what pictures show of other 308s. I cant say for certain, but when I get the radiator bleed screw fixed and meet up with the other owners here in Colorado again, I'll look closer. James in Denver
Also first thing that I noticed. I like the color very much. A very nice and well maintained car!!! Congratulations.
Very quickly turned into a "show off your photography skills" contest. Fun to watch, but I'm not a professional photog. Think I'll stay over here in the cheap seats.
I took this shot at Hockenheim behind the Mercedes-Tribüne. Unfortunately it isn't my car, I'm a lousy photographer and Photoshop noob. But I hope the gorgeous 308 compensates for that Image Unavailable, Please Login
Contest rules specified a close-up pic of the bleeder screw. These cars look great even with no coolant, though. One inexpensive future project that will make you proud is to have that intake manifold re-powdercoated next time it is off, and have the remainder of that ill-advised red on the valve covers removed.
+1. I think I'm going to take a new set up at Monterey and hopefully not with my thumb in front of the lens for most of them. Love that pic! Cheap seats my a$$...
COME ON DAVE, I mean "Mr. Wizard"...........I thought for certain you'd be one of the first with pics. Where are they? Lets see that GT4 you're always talking about. JIM
Yer Tone , number plate looks great, would be good on the latest 430 scuderia coming out. Nice car, dont be so insecure!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
LMAO Most readers won't have the slightest idea why that comment is funny My photography skills won't measure up. Besides you have a bunch of pics of my car, unless you deleted them.
