    this is my first year attending the event. I would guess 40-60 or so cars take part in the event. It does get press coverage as far as I know. I'll film my story while I am out there.

    Had the pleasure of seeing that car today at OBI upclose....DAMN!!!...twin turbo...1000hp??...and the funny thing is...it looks bone stock....until you see the racing slicks on the rears...LOL....
    Whomever has the misfortune of running that car is in for a rude awakining!!

    Awesome event! What class are you going to run in? I 1st heard of that event through Chevy High Performance magazine years back, I wanted Rick Doria's vette :).


    I was with a group of friends headed out to Captree a while back and we ran into that TT GT-40 on the way... crazy fast! He's a really nice guy too, he pulled over to where we parked and chatted with us for a bit. I'm pretty sure it was him, but he has a really nice red 911 Turbo too.

    I am running in the unlimited class. (180+) The road if you look at it on google maps looks like a blast, i'm very excited.

    Unlimited Class??? That is just awesome!!! I would be very excited too, lol. If you take any in-car video footage I would love to see it. I only saw a brief clip from inside Rick Doria's car and it was just insane.

    Really? It looked like the same guy. I only saw the car in motion. It was an older turbo though, a 930 I think. Sweet looking car either way.
