NSXer, You do something with robotics right? Anything that would be good for school-age students (k-5th). -BJ [email protected]
Yes, we build and design robotic systems for both education (7th-high school) as well as industrial/military applications. We have lots of cool things that little future engineers would love.
Do you have a website I could check it out at? Anything for the Elementary School students perhaps? -BJ
At this time, all of our educational robotic items are sold through Pitsco (Pitsco.com). Our other robotic items are sold through Robotzone. Brian
We had only 1 Viper this week, and no Italians, but we had a nice crowd nonetheless at the weekly Friday evening BYB event-- Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
sorry I didn't make it.. but I'm sure you read on viperclub that my brakes... "broke"... hahhaah new lines on order!
Matt- Yes, I read your viperclub.org post last week in the RT10/GTS subforum, and was relieved to see that everything worked out OK. Scary... Let us know when you're back on the road.
What time did you guys finish @ Backyard on Friday night? I swung by about 10 and the only thing I heard was crickets.
BJ- The BYB parking lot lights are pretty weak (even with the new light stand they added this year), so things usually break up soon after dark. I've been leaving at 9:30 or so.
Ah, I see. I missed you guys by about a half hour. Got to doing stuff around the house and looked up to see the time. I only live about 5 minutes from BYB so I thought I'd swing by. Now I know. Thanks.
The Italians are coming!!!! I was going to head up this past Friday but I had to finish up work things. This Friday I will be in Monterey but the following weekend I will bring the Countach. Also, we need to make sure we get a group together for the Last Run carshow this September. We can meet at my building and have a cookout. Brian
For those of you who haven't seen Brian's thread in the Lambo subforum (with some great shots of the Countach), attached is a link. Regarding the Last Run- We certainly need to get a group together. I am likely going to have to be in Wichita on that Saturday morning, but perhaps I can get the Viper down on Friday night, and get back to the show by noon or so on Saturday (we'll work something out). Brian- Let us know how the Monterey trip goes. Sounds like it should be a great time (watch your hands at the auction....). http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=161526
ok kids... here is the next car show... mulvane KS... Sat Aug 18th... last year there were over 300 cars.. if my brake lines get delivered before then... I will be there... well I will be there either way but it would be much more fun with the car... http://skyways.lib.ks.us/ksevents/mosc/rodrun.htm
It's looking like I'll be out of town on Saturday. But, I do plan to try to make it to BYB again on Friday.
We had our normal nice gathering at Backyard Burgers this evening, but with a nice twist- Brian and his Countach made a special appearance, and really stole the show (sorry, no pics this week). We also talked about the upcoming Last Run car show and cruise at Arkansas City on September 21, 22, and 23. More information to follow. See the attached link for general information. http://www.actumbleweeds.com/index.htm
Had a great time tonight. Lots of great cars and nice people. Allen, hope you can make it down for the Last Run!
Well dog-gone-it... I was just doing some stuff around the house, I would've swung over to see Brian's Lambo. Sure was a good night for it. How much longer do the byb friday nights go? -BJ
BJ- You missed a good one last night... The weekly BYB event runs through late October. We've had good crowds all Spring and Summer, but as the days get shorter (the parking lot lighting isn't great, although some new lights were added this year), the crowds might get a little thinner.
hey there Brian! Saw one here in town? That is insane! We need to get the lambos out sometime! I am dying to see that countach! Doung find another?
Yes, it was at the Town West Mall. It was coming in as we were leaving. I was going to turn around but Kristen and I were with her parents. Happy Birthday by the way! I called last Friday to see if you wanted to head over to Backyard Burger and your wife said that it was your Birthday. If you have time, give me a call today (Monday). I am shooting some video today along Cowley 20 roads in the Countach. Doug did find another one. My Dad, Ben, Doug and I went to Monterey and saw more Lamborghinis than you can imagine. He may end up buying a Diablo SV. Talk to you later
Brian, your Cowley 20 pics look AWESOME!! Don't forget to tell me what I owe you on the wonderful trip. Looks like I will NOT have the 2001 Diablo 6.0 back in time for Ark City's "Last Run" show. Will take the Ford GT instead. Made deal on 1998 Diablo SV yesterday. Doug.
