When you roll down the window on a 360, is there a 1/4 inch of glass peeking out of the door at the highest point of the glass?

    Thx

During my test drive of a 360, I noticed both windows peek out of the door, or rubber molding, about a 1/4 inch. The exact amount for each window. It is a 2000. It seems odd both would be the same. Is it the year or is it the car?

I've noticed passenger side window is about 1/4 in. exposed on my '07 430.
It's probably one of those "italian things", that happens during assembly.
Very poor assembly on my '05 Maserati Spyder.
I'm not being critical of italians.
I'm ital-amer. and very proud of my heritage.
    Window defect requires small adjustment.
On my previous Modena, both windows showed 1/4" exposure.
I thought it was designed that way.

I thought they all did that?
My 2004 Spider has about 1/4" on both passenger and drivers side sticking up.

The windows (admittedly) on a European spec coupe wind down fully into the door.

Perhaps its something to do with US regs having larger protection bars in the doors?

I would pause if one went all the way down, and the other did not, but both have exactly 1/4 inch peeking. I didn't know if it was something I should have adjusted or looked at before I take delivery.

I think it's normal. Both of my cars have a small amount of the top of the glass "peeking" out above the top of the door.

all 360's (at least US) do that. With the 355, the windows stuck up nearly 2 inches!

Probably regulations again, guessing its something to do with thicker crash protection beams being fitted in some markets, thus preventing the windows rolling all the way down.

I don't think so, every 360 I have seen does this.

Sounds like every US car does this. As shown by my photographic evidence, my european spec 360 Modena had its windows go ALL the way down into the door.

I've decided to grind down that 1/4 inch so it fits flush with the door. Thanks for everyone's help!

Geez, I hope so... or the next question will be "does anyone have a 1/4" gap at the top when the window is fully up" :)
