A very close family member has a immaculate, two owner 1973 Detomasso Pantera, white, black leathers, all original.

The car only has 14K miles and he's interested in parting with it...I am having trouble putting values on it. A local guy (NJ) wants to sell it for him for 30K, for a fee.

That sounds cheap, but I don't know the market, nor this car...does anyone have any insight?

Maybe martin (or someone) has a NADA CPI (cars of particular interest) guide.

contact Murry Bacchus and ask him. He usually has a good tab on Panthera.
I don't have a NADA and frankly NADA is usually so way off on things....I don't even bother.

Scotty may be able to get you a better idea as well.

My suggestion is if the car is good and only so little miles I'd take it to Barrett Jackson in January and sell it there. Personally, the muscle car boom is over and we will go back to values (not that I personally would consider a Panthera "value").
Low miles will sell at BJ even in an off-color like white.

I had a '74, best year as all problems were corrected. If this car is factory stock, no prior issues, papers, records, it would be worth at least $40,000, as much as $50,000.

Very similar car - '73, one-owner, great condition, low miles ...

Offered at an opening of $54,000.00 with Buy-It-Now of $58,000.00

    NO BIDS.

Might want to contact them and see where they have it priced NOW.

Based on the Ebay numbers - the market seems to be (at least) under $50K

The RIGHT place to shop it would be a Pantera list - someone is hot for this car, just gonna be tricky to find them.

that pic is a similar car...yes on ebay. this one is a 74, not 73, i made an error.

based upon what i have read, 30 is a rip off. between 40-50 seem more legit.

    thanks guys!
