Is it me, or do alot of headphones lose sound in the left side after some time?
and the fact that everyone around people wearing apple i-pod headphones can hear what you are listening to very clearly...annoying when on mass transportation.
It seems as if i'm always going through pairs of headphones. The apple Ipod ones are total junk, so i've had a few pairs of sony headphones - usually around the 30 dollar mark. They all seem to get destroyed one way or another - probably from overuse.. At the moment i'm just using a generic pair of no name headphones. They were brand new a week or two ago, cost **** all, but they're developing a rattle.. Sometimes i debate wether or not i should go out and buy a nice pair of headphones - Bose or Sennheiser both come to mind. A friend bought a pair and ended up spending close to 150 dollars on Sennheiser's. The thing is, i just don't see myself spending that much cash on headphones...
I ditched those pieces of crap... When we test drove the Quattroporte, they gave us free Bose headphones. Those things are amazing, I don't know what I would do if they broke!
people who chew with their mouth open and make a lot of noise or people who smack gum... gettin this thread back on track!
If we're talking about our pet peeves...then: People who buy really old, beat up civics and put rims ON THE FRONT ONLY.
That's what we're here for Mine is people who chew with their mouth open and blow their nose at the dinner table. Drives me f'n crazy.
Mine is people that drive UNDER the speed limit... especially on one lane roads. Also, when people drive side by side and don't let me pass. I'm impatient and I have road rage, I know.
+1 How about those left laners who refuse to get out of the left lane, even though there is no one else around them? They just feel it is their G*d given right to be in that left lane, driving at, or below the speed limit. Infuriating!!!
Yeah, the worst is when people ride side by side on the interstate. I've been known to straddle the center line and ride both of them until they either speed up or separate enough for me to drive right in between them. This is only if it's been going on for a while. I've got places to go and not a whole bunch of patience!
My Tahoe is a pretty intimidating vehicle to have filling up a rear view mirror - people eventually move if I really get up right behind them. It just adds to the infuriation when you finally get past them and they are yapping on the cell phone completely oblivious to the fact that someone is trying to pass them.
I love police, don't get me wrong, but IT DRIVES ME CRAZY to see cops not follow the rules we get busted for - talking on cell phones, inappropriate lane changes, no turn signals(ALL THE TIME), etc.
I really have thousands, but just one would be people who feel the need to take their F&^KING SWEET PRECIOUS time to enter/exit parking lots. Slow drivers are far more dangerous to all of us, than those who cruise at 80.
No turn signals, left laners, using double negatives. Also, when you are camping and a sasquatch steals your beer.
OH! Speaking of which... What about when you're waiting for someone to pull out, they acknowledge you, and they get completely situated, put their seatbelt on, adjust all their mirrors, feed their kids, file their nails, and put lip gloss on before backing out?! TIME'S UP! GET OUT OF MY SPACE! kthxbye.
In that position, right up on them, puts you in the zone no possible accident avoidance should they hit their brakes. And, guess whose fault that would be. If you live through it, that is.
I've had a few folks try that to me. I'll just lay off the gas slowly and watch the vein pump in their foreheads My pet peeve -- those spandex-clad "bikees" that insist on riding 3 abreast and blocking the good roads.
I don't have to be that close to fill up their mirrors. I always leave a way out. I just get close enough for them to be sure that I am wanting to pass.
