In celebration of this upcoming Sunday perhaps being the coolest day of the week, I think it is time to do a Starbucks deal.
So let's all meet at the Starbucks at Parker and the Tollway this Sunday 08-19 at 9:00 AM. The west parking lot is the one with the most room. See you all there and it is only supposed to be in the mid 90's.

I should be able to make it, assuming soccer doesn't interfere. Which it very well could.

Mai and I will probably be there. Are people planning to stay about an hour? We need to look at a house up in Plano later that day.

Hey James, good to hear from you! It appears that you're in a different field now. Hope all is well. Perhaps I'll run into you at one of Don's Starbucks outings...Hey Don, maybe you would consider the Starbucks at SW corner of Beltline and Tollway for the next one. This way I can break Mr. Seizer's record of "least of amount of miles driven" to an auto gathering...Take care. Eddie

I should have read a little closer. The "Park" and Tollroad location was nice as well.
    Nice morning for a ride.
Hope the turn out was good.
You might have heard me as I was going North bound on the Toll Road going to Krispy Kreme in Frisco.

Came out to see the cars and met some folks today.
Thanks to all for the hospitality, and thanks to Tillman for the ride in his 328.
Can't wait to see more cars...

We had a pleasant morning and good weather in spite of what it looked like. As we left and headed south on the access road, Tillman was being harassed by a megaphone exhaust equipped something! Later on down the road it passed us sounding as though it was on it's last leg and operating at speeds severely in excess of design limitations.
We then headed out to the site of ICF just to see what the lake level looked like. Brother, what a difference a year makes!!!!! At this time last year several of us were beginning the tedious chore of watering the area literally foot by foot. No such worries this year, as you can see. Unfortunately you can't see because the camera malfunctioned and changed the size, sorry! I will try to resize and post later.
Perhaps the marque for this years show should be the Aquacar.:)

Did you check out this year's ICF site? We will be just up the hill from last year - on the hill side above Trawick pavilion, as well as below the pavilion.

I did not realise that the location had been changed, but figured that it would be difficult to hold the venue at the same location! Thus the pics we took are a moot point and it would take less time for me to go back out there and retake the pictures with the camera properly set than try to figure out how to resize them, so that's that.
