    What a facist. This guy is scary.

    His comments, in a nutshell:

    "Going to motor racing events promotes hoon behavior."

    "I don't like the Clipsal 500 at all. Just more hoons on the track."

    "I'm completely in favour of punishing people before the crimes have been proven."

    "The South Australian public are greatly in favour of humiliation for any anti-social offenders ("The public love it!" was his actual comment).

    "I want to restore power to the state and police, to that of the levels of just after World War II; the golden age when we had full employment, prosperity and social harmony". (Ed: Social harmony? I guess the whole stolen generation thing, and the great racial inequality of the time constitutes "social harmony".)

    When someone rang up and asked him when the power grab by the government and police will end, and when do you consider the abolition of civil liberties to have gone too far, he said "I don't know, it's up for the public to decide. But the public are in favour of it." (Ed: I'm sure the establishment said the same thing about the German public circa mid 1930s.)

    figures,how about our local lot with the ABC sports reader/journo sic,not a member of the party or lives in the ex flake area but is offered the seat,thats facked IMO.Libs should wake up and put well know sports/media people in marginal areas .
