Just taken that crap apart again for the 5th time. I have come to the conclusion there is nothing wrong with the electronics, it has to be in the cables supporting the fan assembly.
Have to look into that some other day though.
For those of you who want to see what that console looks like inside here are a few shots.
Please not the electronic engineer who I used as consultant.......the last picture.

Is that a Bosch part number that I see on one PCB?

Did your A/C console just come off the face plate? MY A/C console seems to be stuck (seems like it was glued on?), and I am afraid of pulling on it b/c the face plate seems so flimsy, it might break.

My clock buttons recently broke loose inside and I had to take it apart to put the screw holding the internal LED backcover back in. The console is held to the face with a gummy double sided gasket that breaks loose with consistent but gentle pressure from a thin blade or screw driver. Be careful...the faceplate is very thin and I imagine easy to break with too much pressure in one place. Came apart pretty easy once I figured out it wasn't actually glued.

Yep it is glued on.........however it came off nice. It is glued on top and bottom............not on the sides and not in between.

She is not phukin around.......merely keeping me company. Guess she understands as much as I do of this A/C working only when it decides to.

Might be more correct to explain it this way. There was a thin string of sticky "material" which I translated as glue. Probably is some kind of tape though. Sorry.

PCB in this country means something very toxic. PCB in water is dangerous for the fish industry. A cod poisoned with PCB looks like something else....completely.

Which number is a Bosch number?

    :)

Just kidding around. I like the pic of the kitty. I'm not so fond of the 348 A/C Italian craftsmanship.
