I like the new 430 Scuderia and also the 599. These two are hot on my list. Mel has also been chasing me to get a SL.

 

ohhh.. hee hee, i thought it would have been a fair and even trade. besides, i have put in a road directory and restaurant guide in the grove compartment that should make up for any performance difference.

BTW, what's your new car? 599? 430?

 

I am open to all options...but it will probably be a Ferrari.

Think the Scuderia, superleggera & 599 will probably about the same price? depending on specs of course & knowing you, scuderia seems kitted out right but the lure of V12 smoothness.....

Can some of you go do an SL/CS/GT3 or RS back to back test/report? This will be the most interesting read of the year & pics if possible!

I'm itching for a light weight too. Murcie too heavy footed! Maybe I buy a lotus hahaha

SL is yesterday's news so is the Gallardo range, the pendulum is swinging back to ferrari for the next two years. Kudos to the banker and the lawyer for forseeing it

I think the Scud and the SL are about the same price. The 599 is just over a Million.
V12 smoothness is definately a plus point. A super effortless car. It will take u from Spore to KL in sub 2 hrs toll to toll without breaking a sweat. Its probably more an everyday car than the Scud for most people.
The Scud on the other hand... has superfast gear changes... it shifts at 60m/sec.. a F1 car shifts at 50m/sec..that is pretty fast. The Scud is a 3.6sec car. Both Enzo and Scud laps Fiorano at 1.25xxmin. The 599 laps at 1.27xxmins which is slightly faster than the F430. Scud is probably more hardcore and focused compared to the 599.
Both good cars that serve different purposes. Buy both lah!!!
