Several arrived today, but only one remains. How long did we wait for these? Literally, it has been 4 months.... If anyone is interested, here's the OEM way to make a 355 look GREAT for non-street use: http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=202552 -Daniel p.s. Yes, we have a lot of fun unwrapping these crates at Ricambi !
It'll fit all 348/355's. The airbag issue is really your decision. I do not advocate disabling or dismantling *ANY* factory installed safety device. This wheel is intended for non-street use on 355's. On 348's, bolt-n-go!
just wear a full face helmet everytime you drive on the street and install rollbars and a hans device and youll be all set Who needs an airbag.....
I think one can legally ask DMV for permission to remove an air bag.... there is a form you fill out and I think when you sell the car you have to reinstall it or give the buyer some legal notice...
Remember - it's only illegal if you get caught. Besides, how many cops and DMV officials know what an airbag vs. non-airbag 355 wheel looks like? All the new airbag wheels are pretty small anyway.
