Mark did a great write up. I have some of my photos from the trip posted here: http://picasaweb.google.com/przemv/2007_06_San_Gimignano
Thanks for this great write up Mark! Very nice pics also! I was also at Fiorano but unfortunately didn't see you guys (cars), another proof that there really were ALOT of Ferraris!!
Great write up once again Mark! Really great, many thanks! Beautiful pics too. It's very nice to recognize most of the places you visited, beautiful towns! Wonderful that the group could park inside the San Gimignano walls! Cheers!
Links to further pics within the diary should be working in the next 30 minutes or so Links also below http://www.collinsclan.co.uk/pages/Cars/60anni/index.html http://www.collinsclan.co.uk/pages/Cars/tuscany07/index.html
Could join the 3 Lazzeros in Meran, later we stopped somewhere in Trentino to get a pillow of sleep ... From Munich to Meran I had a terrible wet stint. Aquaplaning by 45 km/h on the Jaufenpass; one inch standing water, ultraheavy rain and so on ... - *ggrrrr* But the 355 wipers did well. cheers cinque Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Next morning we spend some minutes for a car wash. Good idea? Well, as we rolled down to the autostrada one minute later the farmers resprayed our cars again with agriculture water - all in vain. We went via abetone to have our lunch in the mountains; what a rush!!! See the restaurant parking lot populated properly for the first time. I bet. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Touring to tuscany guided by the most accurate 328 pilot ever. If there is a turn left, indicator left engaged in doubt. (almost teutonic) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some fuel and we continued our way on twisty country roads. Some people (in pampers-business) prefered the autostrada. Image Unavailable, Please Login
