    Any tips, tricks etc are appreciated. My main question is where does the wiring disconnect? I don't have to remove the door, but if it isn't a pain I'll do it.

    P.S. Don't ask why I'm removing the door. I haven't fully recovered from the horrendous event as of yet. I'll post a thread in a few weeks. :)

    Take the inner door panel off and disconnect the wiring at the connectors.

    They just snap together.
