Door mirrors should be black, as well .......but that doesn't bother me nearly as much as the bumpers...WTF? :D

I don't like the yellow painted bumpers either. How much flex do you have to mix in to successfully paint rubber trim like that?

    The normal amount....LOL!

DuPont Imron sticks to anything as well...I have seen guys color change interior vinyl with it! LOL!

Did you want to be rid of your front bumper that split???

I am thinking of pulling a North American mold or something, to finish #20405....

I DONT know the car, but the price seems a bit on the high side. Its a 1981, so its a 2V and they are asking $33.9K? Miles are good, and I'd ask for a copy of the paperwork on thier service. Interior looks ok too.

I agree, the painted bumpers are a bit much, but for the right price, it doesnt look that bad. PPI recommended of course, but I'd back them off that price to a realistic number before going much further.

Maybe it's honest documented mileage, the Service is good, and they are lurking on our "Values going up" thread...

You are SUCH a skeptic, James.............you can miss a good car easily quibbling over the money, man!
That's whay I have three and you only have ONE! :D :D :D

Not saying this one IS a good one, but the color combo is nice if you straighten out a few minor issues.....

I wasnt unnessarily bagging on the car, just seemed priced a bit high.

I'm not comparing garages either, I feel lucky to have the one I have.

As mentioned, it doesnt look too bad.

I remember Ferrari of Denver had a red/tan w/painted bumpers, it looked even worse in person than in the pictures. Nothing a little semi gloss Krylon won't fix ;-)

Yes and no, as a rubber surface you'd have to be VERY careful about paint/additives used.......

You get a Ferrari mechanic to do a PPI? You didn't mention what he said. If not, don't buy the car until you do it. That's a must. Not a maybe. Not a "I have a pretty good eye", it's a must.

(Been there, done that, got the receipts to prove it)
