If this is the Papmans first visit to the U.S. and So.Cal. someone's got to get him to Disneyland. Can you imagine the photo ops this presents, especially at the Autopia and the Cars characters.
Anyway, what are some other cool places we all can suggest that Pap sees while in the the land of Milk & Honey or is it, Fruits & Nuts?
Maybe volunteers in specific areas of interest such as OC, Valley, LA show Pap their areas?

All sounds great to me Bushy!! Anything will keep me happy!! The list you posted has got me all excited!! Hadley also mentioned a trip to San Fran and San Diego and a 2 day trip to Vegas. If I can muster up some mates to come there with me ect.......or show me to the airport to fly there.

Anything you guys would like to show me will be fantastic!! This is my 1st trip to the US, so I am open for anything you throw at me. Thanks again gents!!

13.) Who's hand prints would PAP look for first at the Chinese theater?

me and dad can take PAP out sailing in our 36ft catalena sail boat...we can go to catalena but it takes 3 or 4 hrs each way (sailing is slow LOL) but it be fun if PAP and fellow f-chaters wanted to just go out sailing for 2 or so hrs and show PAP the ca coast live from the watter

 

O.K. possible scenario's for 'A Day with Pap"
Grouped by Southern CA. areas.
Various volunteers from different locals to show the Papster a good time in their own hood.
There's no reason just one Pap Volunteer shows Pap the area, a group actually would be more fun.
It would be cool for Pap to see a lot of the places we all talk about in So. Cal.
Also , Mr. Bullfighter might have some suggestions in San Diego if we put Mr.Pap on the "Sundowner"( train ) down the coast.

Just booked my airline tix to LA. Sep 13-16. Can somebody recommend a reasonably nice hotel in the area?

 

Shouldn't there be beer stops scheduled?
What about cultural attractions such as the "ballet"?
I'd be glad to demonstrate the 348's prowess in the canyons.

Hey PAP dude, regrets this may depress you but I've got some tour guides for Disneyland for you. Looks like Sat. 9/8, post PAG. My wife's grandaughters are bre (breanna) at 24, 'nee (Renee) at 22, and Lexi (Alexis) at 18. Looks like Saturday 9/8 after PAG. Trust me, they are NOT dogs. You will be pleasantly surprised. Pix to follow. And, so will the tentative calendar.
