Well, I finally did it. I put the tubi on I bought off of ebay about a year ago. I also put on high flow cats. not Hyperflows. Im not sure who makes them but they fit fine. There not as pretty as the Hyperflows but they seem to do the job.

All i can say is WOW! What a difference. Now that sounds like a Ferrari. All of a sudden i have this irresistible urge to gas it through tunnels. My baby sounds like a F1 car. Well i can dream cant I. Also ive noticed the car runs about 10 degrees cooler and there is a noticable reduction in the heat coming from the engine bay after a drive. If i had known what a difference the new exhaust and cats would make i would have done it a long time ago.

If anybody is interested in buying my old OEM single can exhaust shoot me a message. The single can is a huge improvment over the old OEM duel can.

Congratulations!! I know the feeling... with my setup, I'm convinced that I burn 50% more fuel because it sounds sooooo good around 4000rpm, that I live up in those revs.

I already have a tubi exhaust, but I would be interested in your stock cats. I plan to gut them and run them with my tubi. Kinda ghetto bypass.

I'd get hyperflows in a heartbeat, but my first spare change will go for 355 wheels and painting the lower portion of the car red. Hyperflows will have to wait. If someone is getting rid of their stock cats, I could gut them and run them for now.

    Craig,

I have one of those heavy stock exhausts left over too. I would be happy if I could get $150 for it, but no one wants them. Might be a good boat anchor?

Bee Jay, Already sold the OEM cats.

Brent, For guys that still have the old duel can setup going to the single can is an nice inexpensive upgrade. And the single can is a huge improvment over the duel not only in sound but in weight savings. To be honest if you used your car for a daily driver i could see where an after market exhaust might be a tad loud for some.

    Texas of course!
Welcome to the club! I may have to add some cats instead of test pipes though to avoid the stink, but sounds fantastic! No tunnels here so going under overpasses have to do for now :(
