I wonder what those girls in the last two shots look like today...
I currently have a Nikon D200. Here's a few shots. Working on a website right now with some of my more recent work, like my trip to San Diego.
D200 i like this material wich lenses did you used 70/300 nikkor? the colors are expetionals the two last one particulary
Please Doctor, post also some pics of the CS with the D200 must to be a great result. why did you take this material? if you ve got some experience in the photographie (and you have) the D2Hs sould be more appropried. i understood also that the D200 is complete material and you spend really good time with it. i make my order there 2 weeks ago for the D80 but it must to come from HK and the way is very, very, long for delivery. Hope i received it before my holidays.
Hey guys, I think I'm having some problems with my Rebel XT. It seems like every picture I take (even in full auto mode) only focuses right on the center point and everything else is blurred like it's in some apperature setting (it's not). It's also not in the mode where you can select an AF point (there are 7 AF points for this model) and only have that focused. I really have no idea why my pictures become blurry just outside a small center point. Any help would be appreciated. Pics below. http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/9552/img0125db7.jpg This one only focused on the hood and the buttons on the dashboard, lol! http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/1634/img0100ee0.jpg This is the only one that came out well. Maybe because the car is not at an angle and just a head-on shot of the side? http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/3145/img0098ce8.jpg I'll be disappointed if that's the reason. I've taken pictures with regular digital cameras and gotten much better results. Thanks for any help.
It's difficult to say as I'm unable to see the data, but it looks like those shosts were taken with a large(ish) aperture, therefore DoF is narrow. You probably took it quite close to the subject? This will also narrow the DoF. Full auto mode in low light will naturally select the largest aperture possible, which results in narrow DoF, so it wouldn't have made any difference. 3rd shot looks like it was taken with a flash (not sure about the 1st and 2nd) so the camera may have selected a smaller aperture but I'm not certain. To remedy it, you'll have to select a small aperture, e.g. f16, then larger area should be in focus. But the shutter speed will be low, so you might need a tripod. If you are asking for an advice, it would be a good idea to leave EXIF with the image so that it would be easier to analyse them. Hope this helps.
Thanks! All three used flash and the first two photos were taken closer than the third. All three were in full auto mode I think (can't remember) so I didn't have control over the aperture. I compressed the photos in MS Paint so I guess all the info was lost that way as I can't see any info here on my computer. I still have some of them in the flash card and will pull up the info tomorrow. Thanks again!

8-O Maybe I'll look into getting one. I run through two batteries in a good day of shooting (raw exposures eat a lot of processor/memory power, and I bracket). Nice camera. Get a Canon EOS 1D mk3. It shoots something like 10 frames per second. That's ALMOST video
it s good material the feeling is immediat, used the tripod with vertical grip + battery it s a little bit heavy must to have accoutumance with this material, used the tripod in this case. Thanks i start enjoy the quality of camera.
Battery grip also improves the balance/handling especially when you are using a long lens. Definitely recommended.
I am currently using a Canon Digital Rebel XTi EOS 400D with a basic EFS 18-55mm lens. I'm looking to upgrade with lenses soon though.
I'm not an expert, but I fairly sure that SLR cameras do not have that feature. But aside from SLR's, some great handy-cams can double as a great still cam and video maker.
My camera collection includes: Canon EOS 1VHS (film) Canon EOS 1D Canon EOS 1D MkIIN Hasselblad 503cx Both of the photos were shot with the 1D MKIIN in Northern Tanzania. The one of the girl was shot with a EF 17-40mm f4.0 lens and the lion was shot with the EF 400mm f2.8 IS lens. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
