I think it's high time we promote safe driving Anyone knows the points/fine for speeding? I don't do anything more than 40 above limit & only do necessary short sprints eg. to overtake road-hogs. I was caught once for doing 39 or is it 59? above limit, hauled to court, fined $600 & 12pts on a 13pt P-plate. Almost gave up driving/riding then till my license turn green & there's no 1 pt demerit so kept to all rd limits for months, that was painful because u realised lorries are overtaking.... I also realised a lot of motorists change lanes when approaching zebras. That is not allowed on the zig-zag white centre lines.
aiyah, since when we got plan things so far in advance one?! spontaneity a bit lah... i have a slightly goofy idea of doing a drive in our sensible (or "ah pek" as rara terms them) cars. interesting to see what you lot drive when you are not engaging in the HLF!

I think that gal's case was along the now curvy Paya Lebar rd. Maybe I'm wrong & that driver's case was never settled. Recently, he got into another forum to ask whether to buy a GTI or EVO (something like that) then got into trouble when forumers found out. When contacted, police said they are still investigating the case & that guy was not officially charged. So much for dangerous driving! The Miata he was driving went out of control, hit the centre divider, flew to the next lane & crashed into an opposite van or BMW. That's what I remembered from the paper. It's not the car or the rd but the fact that he killed someone else with his actions. Look @ the 16yr old who was knocked down by the bus yesterday. It's very very sad for the parents & I can feel it because I'm a parent. So I hope to drive responsibly as well since I'm a sinner
