http://www.*********.com/showthread.php?p=17515#post17515 I think I'm ready to step it up a notch from my Lotus drives to a Lambo one. I'm thinking the last Sunday of August since there will be lots of events around Pebble Beach in the middle of the month. I know I'm planning way ahead, but it would be nice to get a good group together. I'm open to suggestions. I've done runs in the peninsula, meeting at Alice's, east bay meeting at the old Car Wash restaurant in Danville, and Napa meeting at Silverado resort. I'm open to all of these as well as something new. Would definitely be cool to have a meal at the start of the drive. I don't want to meet before 10 am. I prefer 11 am or later. I had brunch at the Ritz this past Sunday and that was a great experience, although it may be a little too fancy for some of you car guys. Anyway, let me know who's interested and can make it.
Thanks... I'll keep you updated. I'm leaning towards 11 am. Feel free to make suggestions of past drives you've enjoyed. I'm thinking of meeting at Alice's in Woodside, only because I've been there and know the Skyline area is a great drive. I don't know the route, so would need someone to lead.
So far, it looks like we have about 8 Lambos for the drive. If any other Lambo drivers are interested in our Sunday morning drive, please PM me and I'll send you the details. It should be fun!
You know me - I'm at work already, no Friday night partying for me. And because of these married early morning risers tomorrow, no partying tonight either.
I tried that once, but then they wanted me to send them all kinds of money! On a (very booring, but I'm currious) note How many lambos would you say you finance percentage wise? I've never actually financed a vehicle and doubt I will. I've also actually never bought new; though I may one day.
My next run will be more diverse. I really wanted to do a Lambo run first. I have a thing for the sharp edges. I 'm not sure what the percentage is. Some people finance, some lease, some pay cash. Depends on your personal circumstances and what works best for you. I always show people different scenarios to see what is best for them. I'm not pushy. Personally, I don't like debt. I've paid cash on everything thus far, but I think it may be time to finance my next car. It's good for your credit score.
Great seeing everyone! Looking forward to pics and vids from others too: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Once I'm done recovering, I'll motivate and post stuff. Thanks to everyone who came out and made an effort to make it a great drive. And thanks for letting me switch cars.
Looks like it was a good one. Im bummed I wasnt able to make it up there. Hopefully ill be able to for the next one. There was a yellow Gallardo at the Subaru meet I ended up going to. My gf hit me when I said "Finally, a good car"

His brother brought a Nera. Don't worry, for the group photo we all stood in front of it to cover it up. He helped us hold up traffic in the tunnels too.
