Anyone for well done human steak? I would be really pissed if that was my wall.

Two men died in a burning car along Sixth Avenue at about 4am on Saturday (25 August). STOMPer Tony Hew, who saw the car burst into flames and took this photo at 4.07am, said: "There was no chance for anyone in the car."

"Car went off the road at Sixth Avenue, hit a tree before landing in the
    monsoon drain alongside it.

"It burst into flames almost immediately and there was no chance for anyone in the car," the STOMPer said in an email at 11am today.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said one man was found trapped in the driver seat and the other in the front passenger seat when rescuers arrived at the scene within seven minutes of a call about a car on fire.

It said the two men were pronounced dead at 4.35am.

The SCDF said it received a call about a car on fire at 4.02am.

"The SCDF responded with two fire bikes, one fire engine and one ambulance to a car fire along Sixth Avenue, towards Bukit Timah," it said at about 11am today.

"Upon arrival at the incident site at 4.09am, SCDF firefighters saw a car engulfed in flames and proceeded immediately to extinguish the fire.

"The fire was swiftly extinguished by SCDF within 5 minutes using 1 water jet and 2 impulse guns.

"SCDF firefighters found 2 male casualties trapped in the driver seat and the front passenger seat.

"They were extricated within 15 minutes. They were pronounced dead at scene by SCDF Paramedic at 4.35am."

K.D.K I don't know what your problem is, but your lack of respect just shows what a pathetic excuse for a human being you are. Do I know the driver and passenger? Yes, the driver was one of my best friends in Singapore and the passenger a good friend from school and someone I used to regularly play football with. I've been in that MX-5 on numerous occasions. While I'm not going to play ignorant and dumb, and will admit that yes some element of speeding was surely involved in that accident, I would really appreciate it if you stop trying to make a mockery of the situation, like you have also done in SGForums, out of respect for friends and families of the deceased. Speeding isn't restricted to a tiny minority of drivers, we see it all the time on our roads and I'm willing to bet that most drivers on this site will admit to having done it in the past. My friends just happened to get unlucky, and while I am still in shock and grief, I sincerely hope that this comes as a lesson to others out there thinking of speeding.
I don't think anyone here appreciates you posting the pictures of the car burning with the bodies still inside, and whatever sick humour you were trying to extract from the situation will surely only fall on other people as ignorant as yourself, and I dont think you'll find any others like that here. If one of your motoring friends was involved in a similar accident, would you be happy for pictures to be circulating freely via sites like STOMP, with no respect given to friends or families of the victims? Next time think before you try to be funny

Hahahahahaha this is even funnier then my previous post. Well looks like you have to find someone else now to play football with you then.:D

As for the aspect of "respect"...well anyone that has been here long enough would know that i do not comform to any social norms. But then its only people like you that brings out the best in me!

Oh gawd i just love it, just like the good old days...where are my old khakis?

Oui! don't over do-it, ever heard of karma?

3 of my friends met near-death accidents lately & lived to tell. They r blessed & I'm happy for them.

Sorry to hear that those boys r people u know Shredder.

About my V12, just singing it's praises so I can get better price :D & I've stopped driving it + the Porker for 3 days now to take public & walk. Quite a pleasant experience, I have more time to appreciate things around us & burn less fuel :)

Areas under Public Storm Warning Signal number Three and Two will have stormy weather this week and seas will be very rough and dangerous to all seacrafts. Residents under signal number Four, Three and Two should take precautionary measures against strong winds and those living in coastal areas should be prepared against big waves coming from the sea.
