    Hi, I think I am looking for an 'adventure' watch and think Breitling would do me well...here are some ideas I have; maybe you guys can recommend one for me:

    (1) chrono preferred;

    (2) blue-ish dial (definitely not black and not white, also no crazy colors like bright yellow or orange; i know they have a few models that have those dials -- too flashy for me);

    (3) classy buffalo strap (it doesn't have to be since I can change it but it should match; i.e. I would not see a highly polished/chrome watch on a buffalo strap -- more like gunmetal or brushed steel bezel colors);

    Also I have a relatively small wrist so I'm hoping that it's not the largest watch from their collection ;-)

    Thanks!

    superocean chronometre (the black face looks blue in some light, but I wouldn't personally go with the blue face, black is more elegant and will match the croc band).

    I have had a Chrono Superocean for almost 4 years and the watch has been great. I have the white face with the blue sub-dials and the stainless band. If you are looking for an "adventure" watch (something to wear daily), I would personally stay away from the leather straps. The Superocean can take a beating and is great to wear in every situation, so I would recommend getting a band that can also do what you want to.
    I also have a Montbrillant Datora that I got with the stainless band. I actually like the brown croc strap better, but my reasoning was that since you are going to get 20-30% off the initial purchase you might as well get the discount on the more expensive strap. (stainless) Assuming you would eventually want both.

    Bingo, this is what I'm gravitating towards:

    Also with regards to the strap I am looking for the rugged buffalo-type straps; do you guys have any feedback or thoughts on how that will match up with the breitling above? something like this strap from the IWC Big Pilot (which is also nice but at 3X the Breitling cost highly unaffordable ;-):

    if that watch works for skull and bones, i'm pretty sure it's a hit, :) i looked at a breitling bentley once, but that's a serious chunk of change from my bank account that i'd rather save for paying off school...

    That was going to be my next post!

    For anyone looking for a Breitling (or any nice watch for that matter) I would absolutely recommend contacting Darth's wife. I purchased a Longines for my wife and the Datora for myself through Adriana and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks again Darth.
