I am considering a Tubi cat back for my 87 328. Any suggestions where to buy one?

    Gerry,

I know that Continental had some take-offs for sale awhile back.

If you're looking for it to upgrade performance, it won't give you any noticeable gain. If you want one just for the sound, it's one hell of a price to pay!

Try the two local dealers, Contintental or Lake Forest; I'm pretty sure Tubi has a dealer agreement which prevents sales from Tubi directly in Michigan. Speaking of Michigan, you may want to try Cauley Ferrari as well.

Absolutely true. I called Tubi in Michigan and they referred me to Continental, LFSC or Fox Valley. They are expensive though ~$2,900 plus tax. You will get better throttle response and a very nice sound in the mid-range of the RPM band. It also may reduce temps under the hood slightly and it does cool off MUCH quicker.

WOW! Things have changed, so has pricing... I have had my Tubi on my 328 now for about 4 years. I love it! I left the CAT on... I had bought mine from a Tubi dealer in Germany then and got it for $2200 plus $200 shipping. I am sure it's a lot more now just like in the states....

I love the sound between 3-4k rpm after the Tubi is heated up, real nice growling sound and alarm setter offer... HAH!
