    thats what i was saying

he will do jail time 100% if his boy dies

he will do jail time no matter what. probably not long but some. because of the street racing and the load of tickets he got and now here he has 4 other speeding tickets and 4 points as said by madmax

they should suspend him for the full 10 years as well. he has done millions of dollars of damage to his father's rides.

There will be plenty of time later for Monday Morning quarterbacking and deciding how large a lapse in judgement was involved in this accident. (surely there was a sizeable lapse in judgement - by the looks of that car).

What is most important in these next few days is the condition of the severely injured passenger. The initial verbiage in the reports is not encouraging.

Serious car wrecks like this one could result in his:
    - death
    - being in a coma for decades
    - becoming a quadraplegic
    - major brain damage resulting in him being profoundly mentally handicapped
    - blindness
    - organ loss
    - limb amputation
    - etc.

So, since this person was likely a young and vibrant male at the time of this accident, our focus should be on his evolving condition and long-term outlook.

The minimal ramifications of this is a life-long feeling of guilt for Hulk's son.

Wow, not a good way to talk to a moderator. I sense that a ban may be in someones future.
Anyway, are there anymore updates on the passengers condition? All I keep hearing are the initial reports of serious condition.

I doubt he will do any jail time, because he is only 17. If his passenger dies, then that could (and probably will) mandate some jail time for Nick. The punishment he will receive will be quite severe, as in loss of license for several years, probation, and significant $$$ fines. Hopefully this will straighten Nick out and he will learn his lesson.

And, above all, I hope that he and his passenger friend make full recoveries from this.

I was refering to Hulks' sons license, not yours ;) And the fact that when you're in your early 20's, you NEED to be able to drive (get to job, get around etc)

Wrong move. You just won yourself a free 48-hour vacation from Fchat :)

It will be for longer if you continue acting this way. So the choice is yours.

Find your sensibilities and come back later.

True, but most of today's comedy is based off of other's misfortunes anyways.

Uhh, that poopra deserved its fate, but I feel bad for the guys. I think you have things a bit mixed up, maybe you were dropped as a child and for this reason believe Supras are nice cars? I don't know. 320 hp, 3600+ lbs, straight 6 so the engine sits too far forward over the axle... And yet you're spending $25-30k for one in nice condition with 80k miles or so. Stupid.

So I take it you have never gone more then the legal limit? If this was your kid or a family member would that change your mind?

More than the legal limit? I don't consider 120 a bit "more than the legal limit". Assuming the limit was 65 (which i don't think it was), he's going almost double the legal limit. Doing that on ANY public road is lunacy and stupid. And yes, if it was a family member, yes it probably would change my mind but its not so that doesn't come into play.
