Has anyone heard anything about the new paint options for 2008? Apparently Ferrari is re-releasing several paint colors from their 1950's and 1960's cars. All I have been able to dig up thus far is that the option code and description is PNTC Paint Color "Colori Anni '50 e '60" and the cost on the 599 is apparently $10,343. I have no idea why the cost is so high given an out of range paint color is "only" $3160. I do have to say these new colors are fantastic from what I have seen.

I was able to take a look at the booklet showing these colors. The dark grey paint "Grigio Scuro" looks particularly nice! Greats stuff.

Also, a 599 I saw today had an interior color which was neither tan nor cuoio. The color was somewhere between these two shades. Does anybody know which leather color this could be?

the one second from the bottom reminds me of that special-order 599 that was posted on here a while back. Dark grey with some purple in it.

Very nice selection. Some very elegant colours there. Hope to see some owners choose some of them.

By any chance, does someone have a larger version of the color chart so we can see the names?

    Thanks in advance!

Its amazing that Ferrari doesn't have an interactive system where you can visually see complete cars with exterior and interior color combo's.

Picking a color from a sliver sample on a 300+K car is really cheap and unacceptable.

    Most likely "Sabbia" (sand).

the tan is a real tan and cuoio is a baseball glove color.

sabbia is a sand color. i have an 04 360 with this interior. i could best describe it as the same color as a pair of khaki pants.

it isn't between tan (beige by spec standards) and cuoio (baseball glove color). testa di moro is a light chocolate brown color that is offered, but it is darker than cuoio. in all fairness, my sample book is one of the last connely leathers books. sabbia isn't even mentioned. it is possible that a new leather exists between the two.

I talked to the owner of the car yesterday. Apparently, the color was Cuoio. It appears that the leather colors can vary quite a bit: in another Cuoio equipped car (which I used to compare the colors) the leather was noticeably darker...

    Latest info from my dealer:

The Rosso Mugello 325 is currently available for order on all 8 & 12 cyclinder Ferrari cars.

With the introduction of the new Rosso Mugello (non-metallic) & Blu Abu Dhabi (micalised) added to the colour range, the Rosso Rubino Micalizzato & Blu Nart however is being discontinued as standard colour and are only available as "out of range paint colour - PTN0" (payable option).
