Exotics Meet and Greet

I am planning an exotic-only meet and greet for an upcoming Saturday evening in Port Jefferson, NY. It would include a 1 1/2 - 2 hour meet and greet followed by a quick run to the village of Port Jefferson. Then possibly a cruise to the Hamptons. Please PM if interested.

No, It's not like that. I had a request to put something like this together. I placed this thread to get feedback and suggestions from you guys. After all, this is a Ferrari forum.

Are you sure you'll be able to find parking in Port Jeff on a Saturday night? It's usually packed down there and I can't really think of any good places where you can park a group of exotics besides the ferry parking lot, which usually has bikes in it...

I live 5 minutes away from PJ so maybe my dad and I will head down there with the CS if you have somewhere to park in mind...

 

Where in PJ would you meet up - I ask because I grew up there and your choices are limited. You have a very large parking lot next to the Bridgeport Ferry, however I believe it's town of Brookhaven residents only. You also have a rather large lot across the street where the Steamroom Resturant is as well as another lot behind it for the GAP. Your best bet would be to get there earlier in the morning, like 8-10am, after that the town really fills up.

I have a private lot 1 mile south of the village where we can all meet that can accommodate upwards of 50-60 cars. I am working with village "officials" to possible get a designated area by the sound. It all depends on how many cars we guesstimate coming out.

 

I cant drive it if it doesnt work

post some details on date and stuff. If I am around I can be there with the evo, audi, ferrari, mountain bike, treadmill, etc....

If you have a car that you have to ask if it come chances are the answer will be no. We are keeping this event to the high-end cars (no offense). Some guys have PMd me with Porsches and beautiful custom Mercedes-Benz and such... they're all good. Any specific questions about your vehicle and the event please pm me.

So far we have had a tremendous response! I am looking at either Saturday September 22 or Saturday September 29. Tentatively 4:00 at a private location in Port Jefferson, NY for a 1 1/2 - 2 hour meet and greet then a short cruise (1 1/2 miles) to the village where we will have a designated area to park by the harbor. Lots to do in the village of Port Jeff for Saturday night.

In the next day or so we will have a date nailed down and start taking a tally to give to the village or cars that are coming.

You have to make it clear what kind of cars you are looking for. Exotic doesnt really define anything. What is a high end car to you? My 355 doesnt cost anywhere near a porsche turbo but some people consider the 355 an exotic. Let me know.
