    Would seem that the way to sell my car is re paint her and re paint interier.Colour thinking (resale) red with black trim.Have got some figures mate whom repairs race cars reckons he would do it for 2,500 plus hire of booth and materials .Your thoughts?

    theres a ratty looking corflute sign on burwood highway - "resprays $500"

    could be the best option cost wise...unless taubmans have a special on "rosso corsa" spray cans?

    Wouldnt painting it a different colour 'detract' from what the car would sell for rob? :)

    Either way, Rossa/black trim would look sexy!! :):)

    $2.5K should be just enough to respray the top red. Keep the bottom black. Will look sh*t hot!! :D:D

    Although I still love the look of it in white. :):)

    hmm yep its hot...white ferraris are nice. that white 599 youve posted makes me happy in many ways :D

    who's painting it ?

    the local house painter ??!!

    I paid $5k to get the fiat2300s painted 20 years ago, about 8 coats of red and 2-3 clear plus the primer of course and I got the paint cheap !

    Red is one of the most expensive colours

    retrim would be about 6k ish, one of my mate had his RX8 beautifully retrimmed for about 2 and half.

    respray'd be about another 6k-ish, and i'd say keep it white.

    spend about $15k in total, you'll get your money back.

    you are miles out I'm allowing 3.5k in total for painting,wheels and 1k for the inside repaint/dye.

    i greg to differ....given its current undercoat-white state, ANY respray attempt would result in a value rise for sure!

    I like it in white, different, not red like every other Fazza on the planet.

    Don/t know why u just dont keep it, price will only be going up, not a lot of BB's in the world, and in white/RHD would be bugger all.

    6k paint job is quite decent already. for 20k one'd expect a perfect paint + trim + tyres.

    what I'm doing is easy,I've got at home a Connilised kit,that strips of old paint,pull seats out at trimmers/painters(a old client ) and respray dye them,rest of trim I will re dye with a rag.Carpet simple just re dye.For a $1000 it will be done,plus in black it will b a easy job.Just comes back towhom you know in the trade.
