I'm not sure I agree with that. Noobs couldn't even control it.

Try calling it a noob car after you try to set one of the fastest times on the Nurburgring.

(I do agree with it was very fun to drift around in it, though.)

It was hard for me in the begenning, too, but I played it a lot with the other FChat guys, and we all naturally got better with it.

Jason(Speedracer38) and I had some great battles.

    ;)

I was in the top five on about 4 tracks, including the Nurburgring, for a while, too.

Last time I checked, I was still 15th or so on that really long Las Vegas track.

There is 1 mode called cone capture that allows you to roam the city trying to, as you guessed it, capture cones. Pretty fun, although incredibly tricky in some tracks.

    Nope.

Caparo T1 will eat it for breakfast:

The 2007 Ferrari F1 is faster than a FXX and a Caparo T1 is faster than any F1.

Simply the fastest car on the planet. Even before you tune the engine.

Faster than the F2007? As in top speed or quickness/acceleration?

Oh man you're missing out! PGR2 was leagues better than PGR3! But anyways, when you get your Xbox back, send me a FR. My tag is also redwingfan2k1. We'll have to race sometime. You'll probably serve me up though as I haven't played any video games, let alone raced, in almost 6 months.

    Everything.

Look at it this way: A Caparo T1 is basically a street legal F1, but has not to play along the FIA's rules. So it can have as much downforce as it wants, as powerful an engine as it wants etc etc. Plus: It is allowed (even mandated) to cover its wheels, which create an immense drag on real F1 cars. So what you end up with is a car, that has all the benefits from F1 and Le Mans prototype: Low drag, maximum downforce and super light weight.

The Caparo T1 has the best power to weight ratio ever achieved. Add 3G lateral acceleration to that and you have something that would handily win any road race on the planet. The current estimates are, that if it would participate in Le Mans, it would instantly be on pole. By a margin. And unlike a F1 car, it has the stamina to last 24 hours.

Quite frankly I don't understand why nobody else has built this kind of car a long time ago. It makes so much sense. Yet all the so called supercars (McLaren F1, Murcie, Koenigsegg, Noble, Enzo) regurgutate the same old same old over and over again. A true single seater with covered wheels makes so much more sense. Plus it looks cooler than ....

PS: Regarding PGR2 vs PGR3: PGR2 wins hands down. You can tell that they were pressured for time when releasing PGR3 to coincide with the XBox360 release. The game lacks all the finesse of the cities covered in PGR2. So hopefully and in all likelihood PGR4 should be back on par again.

It's quite simple really. People who buy fancy cars like to get to destinations, and be able to park their car reasonably or (heaven forbid!) hand over the keys to a valet.

More important, the primary buyers are men, and most of them would like to take along a woman for the ride or to get to the destination.

The Caparo T1 doesn't fill that void, so we can't have everyone making one.

The Caparo T1 does have a 2nd "seat" (bucket is more like it). But as Topgear asked: Why would you want that extra weight (of the 2nd person)?
