    Hi all. I need to get a car from San Diego, California to Portland ASAP. Open transport is OK (and actually preferred). Dealer has had their normal company fall through, which is delaying things a week or two. Anyone have suggestions about someone to call?

    I have an enclosed transporter who is loading cars in LA this weekend and coming up to Seattle. Any chance you can get the car to LA? If not, it'll just be a tad more expensive.

    No chance. Car is at a Porsche dealer in San Diego. I have already paid them for the transport--I am assuming that I can get the money back but I don't know that for a fact. Can you give me more details cost/timing/etc?

    Scott,

    I know that Dust to Diamonds here in the Pearl District (where a few of us get our cars detailed) also has a transport business and he moves a lot of cars around in California and back up to here. The owners name is Brian. Might not hurt to give him a call and see if he could help you out. Make sure you let him know I sent you.

    Hog Haulers messed up one of my shipments and has been nothing but problems for the Ariel Atom customers up and down the west coast. My experience fwiw.

    I wouldn't recommend Hog Haulers. They're the ones that damaged my car when it was delivered. Took me almost a year to get the money out of them. I've heard other "stories" too.
