Hello everyone. This is Sean Marc Nipper. SHewwww...It's finally done. The Half Moon Bay Milk Run VIDEO for 8-11-07 I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed filming it!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAKezQKStiQ
wow, that's an awesome vid. nice work...hope to see many more of those to come. That TR sounds better (if that is even possible) every time I hear it.
Thank you for the kind words! I used Pinnacle Studio Ultimate. I had to shave off a little for Youtube so, the DVD version is a little longer and much more clear. I have to agree, the TR sounded amazing!!! Thanks again!
I love it! Fantastic work Sean!!! I've already replayed the fly bys an embarrassing number of times Thanks again to you and Alfonso for the set ups, the filming, and for pulling together a masterful rendition of the day. See you on our next run.
Yep..Pinnacle Studio Ultimate does a pretty decent job. If you ever decide to step up a level..try Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 or Vegas Video.. -T.
Hey, Sean. Thanks for posting the video on YouTube -- I really enjoyed watching it. I can't wait to see the DVD -- quality is better -- yes? I love the car sounds and the fly-bys: front and rear. At the next filming, we will need to use filters to reduce the glare off the cars -- damn, those exotic car owners! All of them are finatics in detailing their exotics making them too shiney for the camera. ;-) That TR and the red 360 sound amazing! Check 6. /s/ Alfonso
Hi, SoftwareDrone. I love the Capristo...I tried to get one for my 328GTS, but they don't make it for the US 328s -- only European models. I got rid of the Tubi, and replace it with the Mille Miglia, which, to me, sounds really great. I wanted to drive that day, but Sean needed my help, so I drove his Trooper, so he can film -- hopefully, next time, I will get my car in the film. Check 6. /s/ Alfonso
Hi, Artherd. That's the filter you can screw directly to the lense -- yes? Do you know the filter specs., so I can get one? Thanks. Check 6. /s/ Alfonso
Hi, Tom. I will let you know the next Milk Run I do -- this Milk Run was Prancing Horse's; so, you'll need to check in with him. ;-) Thanks for the compliments -- Sean really appreciates input -- good and bad! Check 6. /s/ Alfonso
Hi, Tahoe Guy. Yes, it took a lot of time for Sean and Katie to put videos together. A lot of tweaking and splicing goes into these film productions. I'm glad you like it -- Sean and Katie will be happy to read this. Check 6. /s/ Alfonso
you need to know the lens size in order to find a filter that fits. Also, I don't have any experience with video cameras, but the bright parts of that video look overexposed more than anything to me so a polarized filter may not be enough...you might want to play around with the exposure settings on the camera first. Other parts of the video were perfect and a filter may have made it too dark.
Thanks, AlexD. I will check the exposure settings on Sean's camera. My camera's exposure seems to be fine from viewing the shots I took. My shots are those when all the cars are coming down, and you hear the walkie-talkie beeps in the background; the shots where you see the rears of the cars zipping off are also from my camera. Those shots don't look over exposed -- the lighting seems good. I'll look into the settings, as well as some filters, just in case. Thanks.;-)
Hi Alfonso, depends on the specific camera, the filter needs to be sized to the lense opening, it will then thread right on. The polorizer also helps cut over-exposure from haze and clouds in a bright sky, they are often very effective; I use them for still photography all the time. Shoot me an e-mail when you get a chance with the camera make & model and I'll get you set up! Best! Ben.
