Pics are here: http://web.mac.com/paulinof/iWeb/Site%2017/Ferrari.html Its official I own a Ferrari. I picked up #19705 last night, and I still feel like im dreaming. Its like owning the biggest, baddest Go Kart on the block! Some questions: Is there a way to turn the AC completely off? The Original owner put in an aftermarket stereo, how the heck do I turn it on? Does the smile ever leave your face?
Thanks all again for the replies! More pics to follow....I don't mind not being able to turn on the Pioneer deck, the engine is music enough.
Put a google search in for the model stereo and you should be able to figure it out. Might be a blown fuse to the head unit if it won't turn on. Maybe call the previous owner, or go to a local stereo shop? I'm sure the young people that work on Fords and Toyotas would love to help you out! BT
A good day indeed. I think you got the VIN wrong, though - missed a digit. Image Unavailable, Please Login
congrats!!! they are great cars. I'm in italy as I type this and have spent most of my time at the ferrari store in Rome
Congrats to you as well! I've been reading your thread; I believe it provided fuel to the fire ever since I heard about the car last sunday. Thinking about the car kept me from sleeping, had the laptop in bed researching, checking out FCHAT...going through all my back issues of Forza... Oddly enough, my birthday is coming up. So instead of renting a Ferrari for my birthday...
Oh no! Do you folks introduce your cars via the VIN or the Engine s/n? I'm going to go outside and stare at that crazy car again....
All right! Another '89. What chassis number is it? I have 82589, which is the 32nd car produced, 17th ts, and the 5th US car (how's that for a worthless detail!). I have only ever seen one earlier chassis #. Have fun and be safe!
I just checked the pics......nice car, but its 82635. Our cars were probably produced very close to each other, but I'm still the earliest car that I know of! (I know, I know......who cares!)
Aha! The last five of the VIN. Does your car have the sticky vents too? I think the climate in Hawaii is just going to exacerbate the problem Aloha to the early 348s
You actually posted the chassis # in your pictures page. No sticky vents here...I replaced the sticky ones a few years ago. Aloha!!! '89s rule!! We don't have mouse belts!
