With all respect; I have a theory that when a man can afford every car he wish for he gets tired of most of them. Is it true? Never seen anything like this "new car arrived thread every 4th week" thing of yours. Of course, I'm jealous. :) It reminds me of that young prince-guy who got a Enzo and said it was not fast enough for him, because he had been around crazy fast cars all his life.
I used to be a collector for several stuff before, and when I had it all the enthusiasm went down when there was not any thing to dream of owning one day. Please, this is with all respect, if you do not wish to answer this I can try to understand it.

    All the best

I think he got a raise this year and started going car shopping crazy! :D Total respect to him. I wish I could do that same.

Waiting to see pics of the F430 spider...

PS- trade in the CS??? are you nuts!!! Keep it! You would have one of the nicest collections of new supercars!

Better wait and see how you like the 430 Spyder. It is a totally different car from the CS.

I've had a F430 Coupe. To me, the Coupe and the 360CS are close enough that it doesn't make sense keeping them both (even though the CS is much more focused). Is there a big difference between the Spyder and the Coupe? I have never driven a F430 Spyder. I can't wait!!!

    ROFLMFAO??? What does that mean.

My Spyder (which should be here any day) will be my only convertible, and I plan on using it alot. I'm getting my Veyron in Dec / Jan (very far away to get excited yet) and don't plan on using it often. It's gonna be the tuxedo in my closet. Also, I'm totally intimidated by it at the moment. I have something better than both coming... By the way...

Rolling On Floor Laughing My Ass Off... I looked it up - incredible this internet thing. I did "the google."

I have very fond memories of my F430 Coupe. And my 360CS is probably my most fun car...

NO - I truly enjoy the cars. I've been car crazy all my life but told myself that I would never build a collection until I could really afford it. Before building this, I had a Spur and F430 Coupe. When I made the decision to really grow the collection I talked it over with my wife and set a budget of how much I wanted invested in my toys. I know alot of guys in my group that have 5 million dollar yachts, that cost them 500k a year to maintain. Then you have other guys that have 10 - 20 million dolar airplanes, that cst them 2MM a year to maintain. My hooby is cheap compared to theirs and doesn't depreciate nearly as much (since I usually buy at MSRP).

That said, I didn't really anticipate buying the Veyron and that with another project that is VERY SPECIAL that I'm working on has put an end to the growth of my collection. I orignially wanted 10 cars, but it looks like my collection will end up being:

    1) 599 (I will order a 2008 soon)
    2) 612 (Need a car with a back seat)
    3) F430 (one of them)
    4) Vintage Ferrari (probably 330 GTC or 365 GTC)
    5) Bugatti Veyron
    6) Something Very Unique and Special -- Surprise...
    7) Phantom

The Lambos and the 360CS will get sold off soon... to help pay for the new cars that are coming. Hopefully, since I paid MSRP for the Superleggera and the LP640, and the 360CS has maintained its value since I bought it, I might make alittle bit of money (ON CARS - WOW). I'm told the Super is bringing 50k over and the LP usually brings alittle over as well.

It sure seems like you're a true enthusiast so I would like to wish you good luck with your collection! Be sure to arrange a group shot when they all have arrived.

Wonder what the no. 6 is? When is it arriving? Got me curious :)

    +1

It's more collectible. I would only consider replacing it with a F430 Scuderia.

Jorge, what about a 365 GTB/4 for the vintage Ferrari? I think it will be a lot more valuable than the 330 GTC or the 365 GTC in the long run. I also think it looks a lot better than either one of those two.

Believe it or not, they have never been in the same place at the same time. Usually one of them is somewhere having something done or fixed. When I settle on my final collection (by the end of the year when I have the BV), I'm going to have them all professionally photographed. Should be a killer pic!!!

Right now though, I've only got the 599, 612 and Phantom at my house. The Stradale was shipped to the Rally, and the Lambos are the dealer because they had an event and wanted my cars there (favor).

Anyway, gonna go for a nice run in the 99 right now. I have a 40 mile run I do that's a lot of fun and relaxes me.
