Which one would you prefer and why? I would go for the f1 because if you were to park in a parralel parking spot for instance, the 6-speed would make it difficult to park.

I could and have parked either and both. All that is required is that you know how to drive and how to park. Considering your age, these and other skills have yet to be learned. No problem.

Oh please!!!!!!!!!! You have a thousand posts and all you can ask is "manual vs f1"? Make a poll about a wooden F50 while you're at it.

i actually looked it up and i didnt find much, remember I am not being specific about ferraris its also about lambos, porsches, audi's, bmw's, vettes, and even yugos, whatever car. BTW why do most porsche buyers opt. for the 6-speed instead of the tip even though they would most likely drive the car daily. Is it because they want to feel more performace?

If I came off a little 'perturbed', my apologies, but this question along with the wooden F50 has been asked enough times to ruffle some of the regulars. If you are sincerely asking, you should receive answers.

The tips in the Porsche family aren't very good. That and most "sporting" drivers like to shift in a rhythm, sometimes slower or faster. I got tired pretty quick with the paddles.

THOUGH, in my personal experience with the F1 (in a 355) I found it much easer to hold a Starbucks and drive a Ferrari ;)

When I drive my prized 575, or any of my other expensive and respected automobiles, I prefer both hands on the wheel and both eyes on the road. Trying to hold an overpriced cup of coffee while in traction has little appeal. Apparently a 355 engenders little respect. Starbucks indeed, sir!

If anything , a full manual gb is easier for parking than any of the F1/Cambio Corsa/Tip tronics/lalala gb.

You have much better control with the clutch.

As for manual vs. paddle shifters, I would get different cars to experience each. They would each be totally different in the driving experience.

My post coordinates in a way with this, but I assume that you have not yet had a good amount of experience with each? Personally, I don't like to base a decision on something such as this without having good first hand experience. But that's just me. . .

    Depends on the car.
    355 6 speed manual
    360 6 speed manual
    430 f1

There has been a huge progression in the f1 system over the years. Depends on the specific model and what one plans to do with it.

Even though this has been asked a 'brazillion' times I think everyones jumping on you a little hard.

Personally I cant ever imagine owning an F1...6 speed all the way. Im not racing my cars and the speed at which the F1 engages is meaningless to me..I enjoy throwing the shifter around.

To me the F1 is a fashion statement..no offense to anyone.

i saw that video my friend and i wasnt very impressed, i did search and found not many results, and it doesnt need to contribute to the forum, its just about personal opinion. And BTW guys about my "vacation" i dont know who banned me but nobody gave me ANY time to explain myself becuase i left that saturday morning with posting privilages and came back at 10 pm from the woodward dream cruise with a month ban. I didnt have time to explain myself nor show any proof. in my "reason for being banned" box it stated "reason for ban: for being a general BS artist with no redeeming social value" If Rob Lay is reading this please advise that one of your mods are being incompetant at their job due to having a lack of substance and or evidence in order to officiate a legidamate ban. Thus showing which ever mod that has unrightfully banned me should issue a public and sincere apoligy for not waiting for any response from me of any sort due to the slight turn of event that somebody didnt believe me that i have a $4000 watch that i havent worn in forever and is a turbuloin ( exuse my grammer) powered watch and not a battery-powered watch, this means since i didnt wear it in forever my watch stoped working due to a lack of movement causing the time to stop.

and you can really find fault with that?? Show me a single post here where you've done anything but annoy 99.99% of the contributing members. Your posts are inane. Your grammar is pitiful, and your spelling, well, just let me say, it's pitiful too.

    Legitimate, Incompetent.
Um, yeah. I'm sorry I didn't ban you forever when I banned you last time.

Look here's the deal, your clock is ticking, and a post like this isn't gonna help keep it running. Battery or self winding.

You really need a giant dose of GROW THE HELL UP. or, GET THE HELL OUT.

    PICK ONE, quickly.

    Read my PM to you.
