U know, Anthony offered me a best best deal on a pair of used Puppy 7 (below wholesale) but I'm worried it'll sound boomy in my tiny 3m wide x 2.8m hi & 5m L room. For a room that size, should I just stick to monitors? I listen to vocals, jazz, new-age, soft rock & symphony. I'm using 100W tube amp. Any advises from u guys? Diffusers/carpet?

I already find it more diff than usual cars to do lane changes in heavy traffic. Get a LHD in a RHD country & you're going to have a lot more problems.

Speaking of which my dealer friend will be looking to import some used hi-end cars from overseas with the new 'relaxed' clause.

I don't think the room size is the issue. I think ur tube amp may not be "fast" enough to drive the puppies.
Naturally carpeting and dampening the room will help the acoustics alot but at the same time u don't want the room to be too dead.

the furthest i went was to watch the f430 challenge test driven on topgear. and the ***** who did it complained that the cabin wasn`t as loud as she had expected it to be. lol... give us your 1st hand field report i could imagine balls curling when exhaust gas pumps through the straight thro pipes under your seat and out the mid-bumper mounted tips

 

I managed to grab an up close sneak peak of the Scuderia whilst on a factory tour last month. They quickly threw the covers over it once they saw me checking it out, but from what I saw it looked truely magnificant. It must have just returned from a photo shoot or something as she was certainly all dolled up. Of course a fleeting look isn't the same as seeing her being put through her paces. Have a good trip!
