Naming your children, pets etc with car/racing namesakes

Named my dog German Shepherd Enzo 8 years ago. My sons middle name was going to be Enzo. The wife said no that's the dogs name.

 

I think I am going to get a couple of cats soon and I am going to name them Targa and Carrera

I have a cat named "Freeway," because that's where I found her. My brother had a cat named Ferrari. That cat was touchy and grouchy. Hmm, sort of like my Ferrari. - b

I'm quite guilty myself....

We named our first born Lorenzo.... After Bandini.

And our Second is named Michael.... After another certian 7 time world champion.

 

When we were choosing baby girl names my wife really wanted Guilietta (as in Alfa Romeo), but also liked Mercedes and Portia (from Shakespeare, but sounds lke it is from Stuttgart). I talked her out of it. I knew that our families would never belive that those names weren't my doing!

 

Cat called Tubi, as in Tubi decat.

 

We had sugar gliders named Schuie and Tazio.

 

THAT IS A COOL NAME!

 

I know someone :-( who named their children Lexus, Porsche and Mercedes. SAD, SAD, SAD. I try to keep well away from them

 

My son's name is Enzo.

 

If they're girls, they will probably be strippers with those names. Kinda like naming them Diamond or Sapphire.

My best friend (dog) was named Dino (Ferrari variety, not Flintstones) and his sister was Porsche.
