Just seeing if this rang a bell with anyone. Paul was the original owner of my 328 and I thought I would just see if he or anyone that knew him was on this board!

I'm actually blown away that he is still in business after all these years. Nothing against his business, but independent TV stores seem to have gone by the wayside. He originally purchased the car under the business name (Paul's TV and Appliance) in March of 1986. I wonder if he still owns a Ferrari?

If you don't mind, let him know (not sure if he cares) that his old Ferrari has surfaced in Arkansas of all places. :)

P.S. Oh, and thank him for having the car serviced correctly all those years.

I bought one of the first Mitsubishi rear-projection HD sets from that store. The prices were good, and the staff was friendly. Didn't get to meet the man behind the voice, though.

That's what I thought ... back when I first started attending the Crystal Cove meets, I remember seeing someone who was identified as Paul of Paul's TV driving an F50.

I bought my last HD from him 3 years ago. Started talking with the delivery guys and they told me all kinds of stuff about the guy. How, at the time, he had 3 homes; Newport, Anaheim hills, and one in Palm Springs ( I think). How there was a Mrs Paul's at one time, but she ws dumped and now he has these young things hanging all over him; like 30 years younger and a different one all the time. How the guy advertises a 'fleet of 30 trucks for delivery' but half of them don't work because he is too cheap to put money back into the business. Yea, these guys talked for quite a while and gave me the whole skinny on the guy.

Interesting information. I should try to contact him. Maybe he is looking for his long lost red head. :)

I love it! Taking the word of a "Highly credible" delivery guy about a guy who has run a successful business for years...

Darth, 1) have you ever been to his shop? It is about 1000sq/ft; very small and hard to hide in. 2) Since they see him 'all the time since he has nothing to do' their words, I would think they are a bit more credible than some guy who post's cartoons on his profile. 3) Having been in the world of business for a long time, and done very well, I usually can tell when someone is lying or telling a tale. These guys had no agenda and seemed beleavable.

Just recently bought my large screen DLP TV from them.
I actually spoke to Paul himself, he answered my initial inquiry call. I believe the delivery man said he is getting out and may no longer be there (as of two months ago).

My car used to be owned by a SoCal icon? That's 10 grand up in value right there... :)

In all seriousness, it would be nice to hear from Paul. Maybe he has a cool story about his old car...
