Does anyone have any thoughts to share on their service experience at Ferrari of San Antonio or elsewhere in Texas. I am just shopping around to decide who to send my car to for service - San Antonio, Houston, Dallas or Moorespeed Austin?

I hope I am not speaking out of turn here since my experience is limited, but I have had a fairly good experience with FoSA.

My experience has been two service visits (one minor, one major) plus one UNofficial visit where the technician test drove my car and actually fixed a very minor problem with no charge. On all occasions I had full access to the Service Manager, the technicians and the workshop area to personally observe my car being serviced. That is very important to me and I find it very reassuring. All service items (from very small to very large) were completely and correctly (to the best of my knowledge) take care of and I was charged exactly what I was originally quoted.

If I had to level some criticism, the best I can do is that both official service visits took longer than originally promised and the technicians seemed to struggle a bit to correctly complete some items. However, I believe Ferrari service *always* takes longer than planned (about half the time for a Honda too. LOL!). I also believe they were honest with me about what was going on and the work was always done completely and correctly by Ferrari factory standards. I found the costs to be high but substantially similar to other factory authorized shops according to my homework.

I place strong emphasis on being well and respectfully treated (even more than on technical competence) which is exactly what I have seen from FoSA so far. They appear to have a very clean, very modern and very well equipped shop staffed by knowledgeable professionals, and my car continues to run perfectly under their care. What’s not to like? I have no reservations about continued service there.
