I use to frequent The Hong Kong Restaurant in Adliya when I lived in Bahrain many moons ago. Not a flash place but the food was pretty good.

Back to the future... more like back to the Past.... i was at Zouk a month back and saw the most amazing car, not sure what it is.. definitely oldish.. maybe in the 1970s or 1980s. It's yellow in color. Can't tell much else, bit sharp angular too. Perhaps a classic Lambo of the 1970s-80s, not Countach, not Diablo. not the mainstream type cars.

thanks.. i happen to have a Maybank credit card and there is a special promotion where some cardmembers can drive a either a Porche Cayman or Boxster for a day. I was tempted to try to Cayman (rave reviews), but now also tempted to try the Boxster just to get a feel of going topless... will let you know my findings, although certainly less of of an orchestra mounted at the back compared to a 430.

With the no plate sir. Go Onemotoring, go under transfer fee....walah, gives u chassis & engine nos too!

I was also checking out an '89 Bentley Mulsanne S in military grey. Very nice big "battle tank" :) but 6.8L on old rd tax aiyaya

Someone must be really sentimental to do it cos it never sold well even new then.

Could be the Ferrari 308GT4 designed by Bertone with shiny alum window frames. There's one in yellow running around. Otherwise the Lamborghini Urraco, heard there's two but haven't seen it for ages. The restoration would outweigh the value of the car itself!

checked it out on the net... both cars are sweet, but not these ones. the one i saw has a more outrageous look and quite a stunner, yet has some resemblance of something from the 70s, 80s. I will try to get the number plate if i ever see it again and do the LTA trick.

well if the car is still in motion without the help of a tow truck after 25 years, means it's pretty good.

Ahh I know! Maybe the one & only Koenig 348 in yellow with the big wing thing? But that's a 90s car, owner spent big bucks by sending it to Germany then back & the then ROV wanted to tax him one more time as a new car, well it looked completely different & IS mechnically different. If it's that, I'm glad it's being used. Owner has a Rufed 993 as well in yellow.
