Ed, your second pic is a Silhouette in Targa form which went on to be Jalpa. Urraco looks quite....old.

All are V8s though & done by Bertone. The only thing I like about the Urraco is the rear slotted panes.

Prob with these cars is that they including early Ferraris up to 80s are fitted with metric tyres due to the rim design then.

Not this one either... it looks much better (at least in my eyes). Really something special. i will keep an eye open for it. now i am even more curious. i just hope it doesn't turn out to be some jap-modified car, but i am quite sure it is exotic and it looks Italian.

ain`t the ctr aka yellow bird based on carrera 3.2 platform, not 993... anyways, there is i think only 1 btr (almost full) conversion, based on a 930, in sg. btr, single turbo, 374bhp; ctr, bi-turbo, 469bhp. both about 1,100kg each. 80`s technology, yet exotic slayers on the track, even today. lol....

I'm confident this is the car you are thinking of. I took pictures of it but never got conclusive answers on exactly what it is. Tried the OneMotoring trick when the plate was fresh in my mind, but it didnt show up. Really was a crazy car, the whole roof just pops open! Got a feeling it might just be a kit car though

BTW today we drove across the causeway towards Saudi Arabia which is like 30km long...very nice if you have a sports car... nice road to push it.
