This is one of my favorites from my collection. Who can name the gentlemen in the photo and the car? I think the venue is obvious. Image Unavailable, Please Login

My father and I went to the 12 hours of Sebring in 1972. I was 13 years old. The race was dominated by the three 312P's. This is the first lap of the race at the hairpin turn. Image Unavailable, Please Login

This is probably too far off the purpose of this site to persue too much, but one of my goals is to document in 1/43rd scale models the racing career of Al Holbert. For this race, Al joined the regular drivers of this car, Dieter Oest / Mike Tillson, entered by Holbert Porsche-Audi, in what was his first long distance event. I have a couple of closer photos by Bill Oursler via Michael Keyser, but I am alway looking for more. Thanks.

Very impressive! I didn't know there was any serious motorsport in countries like Angola, far less considering that we speak about the 60s! Great pictures, thanks everybody for sharing! Vasco, I understand that Luanda is the capital of Angola...? Or am I wrong on this?
