I saw a few offered from Hong Kong, very cheap indeed.
A bit hesitant to bid on sellers from Asia, its far away incase of troubles!
Shipment to Europe was expensive, so I didn't bid.

Enjoy, If this is the one offered, its a real bargain!

Yes the blue one is fantastic indeed being very unique, i love it. I did not paint it, the previous owner did, i got it as a second hand for a very cheap price quite a few years ago.

Not sure if its the one you saw, I got it from a second hand shop but they do list their products on ebay so i won't be surprised if its one of them!

Wow, I NEED to get one of those! Absolutely stunning.
Are these the kind that need to be assembled and painted? I'd like to find a complete finished model.

    Cheers guys :)

TopElement: Its a fully built diecast kit by Tamiya, so you need not do any assembly yourself.

I've always loved that blue (TdF?) F50 Justin.

Is there a brush fine enough and a hand steady enough to "fix" the raised white lettering on the tires? I've never understood their decision to do that.

I really like the build quality of the Tamiya F50. It is much better than my Kyosho F40 Lightweight. It was my understanding that the first edition did not have the raised white lettering on the tires. That only came with later versions.

I knew I would see your post soon enough :D Not sure about painting it over, but I heard people put the tyres on the other way around so the white lettering would be facing inside the car and thus invisible to the outside. Personally the white lettering doesn't bother me much so i will keep it.

Not true. My red one is the first edition ones and as you can see the white lettering is there.

Thanks mate. I have one on order, a model which will complete my super ferraris collection :)

The blu TdF is a custom one-off that Justin very luckily saw at a toy show or something. I'm pretty sure he has a burning desire to sell it to me :)

But you can buy the red and the yellow:
