I've got a US spec. 78 GT/4 that I've owned since "94" and want to retrofit period fog lights. The car is very origanal and I want to keep it correct, if possible. As I understand it, the dealers added these lights and would most probably have used ones purchased in the country were the car was sold. I'm hoping that a fellow forum member can tell me what brand they are or take a photo of the lights from your car. Believe it or not the Ferrari part # is still "good" at $190.00 ea. but basicly unoptanium. I'm guessing they could be Marchall of something similiar based on some of pictures I've seen. If you can help with info, it doesn't matter if it's US, euro, Australian or other, I'll take any info I can get.

    Thanks
    Ciao Scott

The parts manual lists the fog lights as "Non vale per USA" and I would probably not add them if you want to keep it original. If you do add them, putting them behind the grill would probably look better than mounted under (or worse, OVER) the bumper.

    added Carellos to my ,79.
Found a pair of ebay for $75 like new.
The mounting bar is already there behind the grill with the hole drilled. easy install.
On the dash left wing I drill a hole for another warning light and another factory switch. everything looks original

    Hey Guys

Thanks for all the info, it is much appreciated. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but at least I know the parts are available if I go that route.

    Thanks again

Give John Moretti an email( ex moderator Australian section) he has quite a lot of GT4 parts, he may have what you are looking for.
    Cheers MG

The fog/driving lights are brilliant. I use mine all the time. In my part of the forest, it is customary to always drive with lights on, and I don't want those barn doors of popup lights to be up all the time. The antenna switch on my center console has been wired by the previous owner in such a way that flipping it will keep the headlights down (and off) even when switching lights on. So tail lights only then. Flip on the driving lights switch and I can drive around like the customary christmas tree, without the popups.
