I'm considering new carpets in my L-series. Anyone have recent experience w/ kits supplied by the usual sources (eg Re-Originals)?

Robert - the last Dino interior I restored was done 100% with kits from Auto-Mat (they have a website).

The quality was phenominal and the customer could not have been more pleased.

I did the work in the 80's and it still looks brand new.

Auto Mat supplied everything except the dashboard (mousefur) and headliner, neither of which needed replacement.

I highly recommend them - the fellow I worked with was Glenn.

Thanks Bob. I'll Google them to see if they're still around. Bob K.

World Upholstery in California is who I used.

Very nice carpet set, however, you do have to cut the openings around the cockpit vents in the side panels. OTherwise very complete.

Mike and Jamie do excellent work, I've used them for two of my cars.

Did you order carpet sets from them and then had them installed locally, or did you have them work directly on your cars in California?
