550 Barchetta wanted

foreign cars italia in Greensboro NC has a yellow one with super low miles,Ferrari of Washington has a really nice black/black and Miller Motors a Ferrari dealer in Greenwich Conn. has a Yellow one. I'd not jump to any conclusions about FOW, but there are some very serious FerrariChat threads regarding their practices, recent sales, and resulting issues after the sale. It would be prudent to do a search here and gain as much knowledge as possible before dealing with them so that you avoid the same pitfalls.

 

Not sure what issues you are talking about at FoW.

I have purchased two cars from them over the last 3 years (including my 575 about 3 months ago). They have always been a top notch shop in sales and service to me.

On the sales side, Augie is a pleasure to deal with. Service, Willie Mack and Josh Simpson are great. Mike in Parts is also top tier. I would have no issues buying from them again.

If there have been issues at FoW, I highly recommend contacting them. It has been my experience they will make it right.

Of course, this is just my opinion as a satisfied customer. Your mileage may vary.

I believe some FerrariChat discussions center on isolated negative cases which can be discounted while the majority are positive experiences.

my favorite barchetta is by far the one at the end of victory by design, silver/red it looks amazing, the FoW black on black is very nice and im pretty sure was sold and has been serviced there, i remember seeing the car many years ago about the time it would have been new

 

I know the FoW car well, as it is owned by a friend of mine. It's a clean, but not quite perfect, car. He's the 2nd owner, and he's exceptionally careful with his cars. All maintenance while he owned the car was performed by FoW. He's not an aggressive driver, by any means. Sunday driver only. Never hit. No stone chips. Always garaged. He is only selling it as his 430 Spyder arrived. While he bought it from FoW about 2 years ago, the car was not originally sold through FoW.

This is a magnificent car - blu NART / cuoio (?).

When it was in the Dupont, they said it was the "first one sold to the public", but I don't think that means it's 001/448.

Was it a pre-production auto show car?

In any case, amazing colour combo.
