    Hello - I am new here - just join today - I am from Denmark, and I have a Dino 246GT serie L (knock off wheels) 1971 chassis no 868 bought in Siegen / Germany in 1988 - do anyone here know about this cars history before approx 1985

    Is Forristall's still in business? I used to see ads for them all over. I seem to remember several ads for them in the FML in the 1980s.

    It was only a short distance in Denmark - about 90 Danish Ferraris was in this rally, and the rally was compelted in the afternoon when about 60 Ferraris from Sweden join us on a little island between Denmark and Sweden called Peberholmen - the biggest Ferrari Event ever in Denmark

    The tyres is from 1988 - I found my Dino at the "Old Timer Grand Prix" in Núrburgring in Germany in August 1988 - the same day Enzo Ferrari died.
    I only drive between 5 - 10 times in my Dino a year.

    20 year old rubber is a great formula for disaster.

    The tipoff was that Goodyear has not made high speed tires in 205/70 for ages. I know, I used to have some. They were great on the track and I wore them out in two years. I tried to get more and they were out of production.

    Definitely replace them - old rubber is an recipe for an expensive disaster.

    I've had Goodyears and find they are overly lively in bump steer and in worn road troughs.
    The new Vredsteins are quite good.
