It is. I was remodeling a house and found it in a garage on a shelf where it had sat for 25 years.. It was full of pine needles.

I use a Les Paul or SG through either a VOX AC/30 with an overdrive pedal to fatten it up and add a little more crunch on an otherwise VERY clean amp. Or I will use an Epiphone Valve Junior. My Marshall is a JCM 800 2203 Zakk Wylde signature, so it's a littel too much for slide.

As for slides, I really like the sound and warmth of a solid brass slide. I use a Dunlop slide. I also have a glass slide that I like as well. But I find that I do better with a brass slide.

I also use a POD XT Live for quiet times.

I've found that the key is to have some sort of slight delay or echo. Nothing too great or little. It really needs to be tasteful. You need to simulate the very open sound of a concert hall or small venue. This gives the sound a larger sound that really emphasizes the bell like tone and wide open sounding Marshall.

Oh, and for any technique. I use my ring finger, SOMETIMES on my middle finger if I need to play chords as well, but that is very seldom. My guitars have either 10-46 or 10-60 strings. I actually prefer the tone of the 10-46 on my SG Standard the most. The neck pickup is incredibly smooth, yet not too muddy. Then the bridge can kick it up for some simmering leads.

Brass; pinkie (I do alot of fretting); 10/11's unwound G; Stomp box run into a 10 watt National amp set loud enough to jump off the chair; neck pu on the LP.
I've used a chorus and for a while a rotating speaker--never tried a delay. I'll give that a try when I get moved back into my house and get my stuff out of storage.

Ahhh. I've never tried a leslie speaker. Always wanted to, but I've never seen a cabinet with one in it. By far one of the coolest subtle effects.

I just re-clothed my Marshall 1960A cab to match my Zakk Wylde JCM 800 2203. The cab started with the regular black cloth and large white logo with white piping. I replaced it with bluesbreaker/1962TV cloth, gold piping, and 6" gold Marshall logo.

It was pretty easy to do everything. Here's a few pictures of it!

Yeah, the clash of the regular black was so annoying to me. I think this looks far more professional and cooler.

As my mother said, "It looks more rich!" (as I was letting it roar playing some Lamb of God riffs). Haha.

Sorry. I've gutted and am rebuilding my house, everything is in storage (I'm living in an RV), so no recent pics.
My Paul is plain-Jane late-70's. I got it cheap because the previous owner was not very thoughtful and hacked a hole in the body to accomodate a whammy bar, and had changed the pickups to high-output. I replaced the p.u.'s, pots, wires, tailpiece, blah, blah, blah, all back to stock.

    This thread needs a bump.

Okay, a recent acquisition, not vintage, but for playing, not collecting. It's a Warmoth Sadowsky copy. I'm the third, possibly forth owner of this bass. Sadowsky pre, VTC and pickups. Headstock was shaped like the Sad's from the original builder who I recently tracked down. Sound fantastic, and very versatile. One of the most solid basses I've come across.

I recently came across an early 1970's Ibanez Electric in my family storage, mint condition. OT but I forgot my 1901 Swedish Mauser Rifle was in there, mint condition, still 100% able to shoot.

Wow. I totally forgot about this thread. Well I recently took a pic of all my gear collected in one room. This is the first time that has happened in over 4 years. Marshall 1960A Cab, remodeled to match the ZW head
Line 6 PODxt Live (under the guitars in front of the Marshall halfstack)

    Guitars (left->right):
