I HAD A LAMO E-GEAR DROVE IT TO THE MAX VERSUS MY F430 SPYDER.YOU CAN COMPAIR THEM AT ALL.IF F430 WAS 10/10 LAMBO WAS 7/10.I DROVE THE LAMBO 2 THE MAX & IT WAS TRASH COMPAIRED TO THE FERRARI.lambo used to shut down on me on the road.ferrari interior is so much better plus the F1 gear is some much better..i just thought of writing this thread only beacause i just drove my F430 to the max & it really felt so good..i cant even compair both cars..qualtiy wise plus leather & looks ferrari is so much better..please mind my spelling only because im arab.i had a 2004 gallardo.& my new car is a 07 ferrari 430 spyder.if u want to talk about looks ferrari has it..quality plus interior & michanics.ferrari has it..i drove bought cars really hard..i cant say except FERRARI is the one 2 have..hope soon within a monthes time.im gonna get a pogani zonda.i know it'll remind me of my old viper that didnt have traction but i want something quinice..plus again mind my spelling...FERRari cant be compaired to lambo as in quality..lambo just has the looks..my gallardo was always at the dealer..is used to break down on me so much it needed so much adjustmints at the dealers..trashy cars...

sounds like your F car came out way ahead.
But I would be keen to hear our a 2007 Lambo G car with improved mechanics fair against a 430

i drove the lambo to 315km kept my foot down for a while..on 315km is the limiter then cat lights apeared & car lost power while still my foot was on the pedal & it slowed down till i had to shut it off & restart the car.bad quilty.i drove the ferrari to 280km only & it felt abit light, but still ferrari all the way.the visabilty on the Ferrari much better than the lambo.

I looked at the lambo before I bought my 360, and I just felt as if the car was just too much an audi (interior). I swear 60% of the interior was audi, which isn't a bad thing if you like audi, but I hate audi. Different strokes. There is an allure, maybe it's the fanastic aerodynamics of the car, the power, the modern lines. I don't know, but it is certainly attractive. 430 for my money...

bro,i think when you get your Pagandi Zonda, you would think the F430.. is hmm.. like what you said about the G.

I would choose a Lambo anyday to a F430 in singapore... wish.. i could afford a Pagandi

Speaking of personal tastes...Ferrari in white just looks plain wrong.

Gotta be red, black, yellow or silver.

Nice to see another Ferrari owner with a white car although I didnt have the luxury of choosing the color of mine I simply jumped in and bought a preordered car that the guy was waffling on. Anyway I almost bought a new 2007 Gallardo, the nero noctis edition, before I happened across the 430. As people have read on other threads I had an 07 911 Turbo but wanted something more exotic so was looking at the Lambo although secretly longing for a 430 which at the time was a minimum 6 month wait. Anyway back to the lambo, so I took it for a drive and thought the power was decent and exhaust sounded good, cool little rear view camera but felt the cabin was very confined with terrible sightlines. The car is beautiful no doubt but a little too much for my taste as I prefer the more subdued, classy lines of the Ferrari.
I agree 100% in the comparison between the interiors and the view that the lambo interior leaves a lot to be desired while the 430 is beautiful, supple leather combined with in my car for example with a substantial amount of carbon fiber which really adds to the look. The cabin is spacious, for a sportscar anyway, very luxurious and visibility is good. In terms of performance I feel that the ferrari has the lambo beat hands down, performance figures are close of course in terms of secs but in handling, driving feel, handling I prefer the ferrari. Though I must admit I have yet to drive it to the max..lol
Last but not least came down to price, although I absolutely love the looks of the 430 over almost every car out there, prior to knowing the 430 was available after test driving the lambo I thought why would I spend(extra $27K for nero package and e gear) almost $225K on a Lambo when I could wait 6 months and pick up a 430 for roughly $25K more(no getting around $35K premium over sticker here in Hawaii). Especially after a year of ownership the ferrari's drop in value would be negligible(wishful thinking of course) but certainly would be nowhere near the drop of the lambo which could drop 30-40%.
Ultimately in comparing the 2 certainly it boils down to personal preference but if you were to have 100 unbiased judges rating the cars on performance, drivability, value, reliability, exclusivity, quality, etc I would think the majority would pick the ferrari. However since we are merely relating personal experiences and opinion my vote is for the 430.

Well mate to each their own... when you can afford to buy one you can get what you like. Coming from someone that actually owns a ferrari and a white one at that I think it looks pretty damn good..

Its a matter or preference and taste, I did drive the F430 F1.. not mine , and well.. I just prefer the Lambo.
    Its just what I feel..

I guess, you are one of the G owners in SGP who just bought his f430.

Anyway, enjoy your car.. and dont take offence .

I had an 06 Gallardo, currently have a 430 and had a Stradale earlier. What did the Gallardo in for me, more than anything, was the heavy steering. I felt I had to muscle the thing around all the time, even on the track at speed. The 430 by comparison is steered with the wrists, not the shoulders and back. More accuracy, more able to focus on the driving line instead of my body.

honestly from someone who owns neither -
i did the world class driving thing where you get to drive 6 cars for $1000. long story short, going in, i loved the 430. coming out, i was obsessed with the lambo. got to drive the 430 paddle spider, just was not as inspired by it as i was with the lambo. the lambo was just a beast! again, just a humble opinion of someone who doesn't drive these cars everyday.

+1 , this is the first post i have ever read that talks about the heavy steering . it always wants to pull neutral while you're going around a corner which is annoying .
