That car sold at Manheim about three months ago for $57,000 approx. Although I haven't seen it, I hear that the records were incomplete and that it has had some paint work. (Personally, paint work might not be a big deal,)

You are probably right. I remembered the rims from a photo and the mileage is in line with manheim's sale results:

    05/17/07 MANHEIM Regular $55,000 19,476 Above RED 8G

Not from what I have seen '95 335b's sell for recently. He will be lucky to pull $60k in my opinion. Have been casually looking for the past 6 months. Have viewed several good cars that sold for mid to low $50k. Nice spiders are barely topping $60k! Strange market out there!

Good question. Missed a ’95 355b in KY with 26k miles. Complete major 2 years prior at a good independent shop, challenge grille, tubi with test pipes(problem for me in MA), speedline 3pc wheels with originals, good paint/ no accident history. Problems I noted, some dash shrinkage, sticky interior parts, had books and records but no tools. Header and valve guide condition unknown. Sold before I could have the car PPI. Enthusiast owned. Sold for $54k
Have been offered a very nice 355b by a well known independent shop for a customer. 30k miles, fresh complete major, headers done, valve guides done, all books records tools etc. Nice no stories Ferrari. Asking $60k.
Depends on your definition of nice. These are well maintained 355's with minor issues(if any Ferrari issue can be considered minor!). Perfect examples sell for a premium, as well they should. Personally I would prefer to find a 355 in need of service. Buy with a discount and have the car serviced completely. A seller is naturally going to have the car serviced to sell, not to keep.
