Hoping to get to 1,000kms early next week for first service. So far car is perfect. I am very happy to have the only silver car in Hong Kong. Most of the 599's are red or black. A Bianco Fuji car arrived in the same shipment as my car. I really love that colour. My QP is in Bianco Fuji. The 599 has a 2 tone beige interior which does not go well with the Bianco Fuji IMO

Great choice in color with the Silver. There is a serious lack of silver Ferraris. It suits the cars so well.

I didnt originally like the standard 599 wheels, but after seeing them on your silver 599...I really like them. The tint also suits the car very well. You have great taste!

Car going in for 1,000km service tomorrow.

One comment for anyone speccing their car, think twice about the fire extinguisher. It looks fantastic but the buckles dig into the passenger's leg

Will post some pics for you Andrew. I drive the car anywhere I feel like in Hong Kong including Central, TST, Mong Kok and more outlying areas. My Daytona is licenced so i can drive it whenever wherever I want to

Only photo I have in my PC is a picture from Shanghai

Thanks ! The Daytona is prob my favorite top 10 Ferrari. Its such a monster and the noise is amazing .

I cant imagine how cool it must be seeing a Daytona in central HK. A vintage Ferrari in urban jungle.

I think so too. Daytona is fantastic in the urban jungle. Good A/C, no over-heating but a real struggle to parallel park!

That picture was from the roof of Ocean Terminal. A friend drove my Daytona. I was driving the 612 beside her. Dropped the 612 at IMSS and then drove 288 GTO to Repulse Bay. Another friend drove my F40

My 599 is now fully prepped for its' big outing at the end of the month. Double layer 3M, extra covers on the grills, armed and dangerous! I will take some photos of my grill - chicken wire. I think pretty cool and will save my rad from big stones.

Just back from my almost 3,000km trip to Yellow Mountain. What an amazingly beautiful place. Car was fantastic - no problems at all. Highly recommend the stock rims over the 20" fronts. Higher profile tyres are much better at high speeds on less than perfect roads

It's good to see people actually using and enjoying their F-cars! I reckon you are not afraid to get the car a bit dirty.. :)

I have conclusively determined that a 599 at 75kph in 6th gear with no a/c on can go 90kms after the last amber fuel bar goes out on the gauge (i.e. completely empty) as I ran out of fuel 1km from a station and coasted downhill to the station and needed a short push to the pumps. The station I was counting on for fuel when I was down to a quarter was out of fuel. Man! The joys of an expedition in China
