Lets look at things on the bright side now, shall we?

    1) Technically it IS a Ferrari that is winning both WCC and WDC this year.

    2) From now on, also Mercedes can brag about using Ferrari technology in their road-cars, which means that we have solved the whole 'Dino' thing, pretty easily...

This 'spygate' thing isn't such a bad thing after all...!

    :D :D

Hamilton and Alonso have too big of a lead for any Ferrari driver to win the WDC. Mathematically it's possible but it's such a long shot. I just read the email exchange the FIA published between Alonso and Pedro de la Rosa and he just makes me fuming mad how big of an advantage Mclaren got from using Ferrari's data. Knowing exactly what stop Kimi was going to pit so they can plan their strategy around that? That's unreal at the very least they have serious evidence against Alonso I think both drivers should have lost their points as well as the team.

Most likely Ferrari will not win the WDC.

I think the statement was tongue-in-cheek. Technically, if the McLaren has some Ferrari components, it could be considered a Ferrari (just look at some of the vintage cars). So when a McLaren wins the WDC, is it really a Ferrari winning the WDC? :) Of course not, but funny nonetheless.

    Spygate is great for F1.
F1 was mentioned on the Boston Globe's website and has been mentioned daily on epsn.com
A typical season is lucky to get a single mention, usually whoever has won the DC, and thats it.

It's good for the New England Patriots. Their $500k fine for spying is miniscule compared to what those 'little European guys' have to pay!

Not sure how many of you get the Magazine "F1 Racing" but the August 2007 edition (pg. 34)has Peter Windsor (commentator on SpeedTV during the pre and post F1 races) talking about this being a good thing as well. He mentions that this has been going on for years (small scale) and its about time these kind of actions are brought to light. Apparently Peter Windsor believes this to be a good thing too...... It's a pretty good article from someone who has experience in F1...

WCC yes, but WDC looks glum. only a disaster for both the Macs can perhaps see Kimi being crowned champion..
